AD Affiliated Distributors (“AD”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and takes steps to protect your personal information. This Privacy Statement explains our current information management practices on our Tuff Grade website.

What kind of information is collected when you visit our websites?

Information You Provide

You are not required to provide personal information in order visit the Tuff Grade website. However, in order to use and receive certain online products and services, we may need to collect personal information from you. For example, we may collect your name and contact information if you:

  • submit an e-mail, comment, question or request, or subscribe to our communications
  • provide feedback or participate in consultations, surveys or other activities on our website
  • use the locate a distributor feature on the website in order to be referred to an AD distributor in your area.

We will use the information you provide for the purposes for which you provided it, including to respond to your message, administer the consultation, survey or other activity, or provide you with the information, service or product that you requested. We may also collect and use your personal information for other purposes with your consent or as permitted or required by law.

Information Collected Automatically

(i) Traffic Monitoring and Statistics

When you browse or download information from the Tuff Grade website, our servers automatically collect information for traffic monitoring and statistical purposes. This information may include:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the computers being used to access our website
  • operating systems and the types and versions of browsers used to access our website
  • Internet Service Providers used by visitors to our website
  • dates and times users access our website
  • pages visited
  • keywords users enter into our search engine
  • names and sizes of files requested

This information is analyzed for operational trends, performance, and for ways to improve this site. We cannot identify you from this information.

(ii) Cookies

The Tuff Grade website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file sent from a Web server and placed on your computer’s hard drive. The Tuff Grade website uses two types of cookies: session cookies (temporary) or persistent cookies (longer-term continuing use).

  • Session cookies may be used to support on-line feedback/discussion, forms and registration. They are used only during your online session and expire when you close your browser. Without session cookies, moving around our Web sites could be much slower.

Our successors and assigns may use and disclose your personal information for similar purposes as those described in this Privacy Statement.

We may disclose your personal information in other circumstances with your consent, or as permitted or required by law.

Security

AD has implemented appropriate security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. AD’s safeguards include the use of security software and encryption protocols and involve physical, technical and procedural controls to protect information behind the firewall. Personal information is maintained on our servers (or those of our service providers). Authorized employees, agents and mandataries of AD will have access to your personal information as necessary to fulfill their job requirements.
